This section of our portfolio shows how we approach research and project development in practice. At Global Disability Consults, we support clients who need research that is not only methodologically sound but also useful in the settings where decisions are made.
Our work in this area includes baseline studies, rapid assessments, qualitative and quantitative research, mixed-methods projects, policy briefs, academic papers, journal articles, and research reports. We work with governments, nonprofits, corporations, social enterprises, community organizations, and individuals, including individuals with disabilities, who need evidence that is clear, credible, and responsive to real-world needs.
We begin by understanding the research purpose, the timeline, the audience, and the kind of decisions the findings will need to support. From there, we help shape a process that is rigorous, realistic, and accessible. Depending on the project, this may involve tool development, planning for data collection, analysis, writing, and presentation of findings.
This part of the portfolio also reflects a core belief in our work: research should not end with data collection. It should lead to clearer understanding, stronger strategy, and more practical action. The example featured here shows how we approach inclusive research across contexts while keeping the final use of the findings in view.
